After the Party — A.K.A. the getting-back-safely plan
Here’s the full guide to getting home after the wedding — night buses, parking, taxis and a few things worth planning ahead for.
Decide in advance whether you’ll drive yourself, hop on a cab, nominate a sober group driver, or take the night bus.
Parking is available at the venue, but cars cannot stay overnight unless you’re staying at Tenuta Savoca.
Ride-hailing apps (Uber, Bolt, etc.) don’t operate reliably in this area.
Night buses run hourly from midnight, stopping only at designated drop-off points (which you will find here)
Taxis are an option, but you’ll need to book one ahead of time. Ask your hotel for help.
Start time: Midnight
Frequency: Every hour
Route: Tenuta Savoca → Designated drop-offs in / around Piazza Armerina
Who they’re for: Anyone staying in Piazza Armerina or the venue where the pre-event is happening (Tenute Leano).
To make use of this service, we recommend booking accommodation at one of the four recommended hotels or close to the additional drop-off point in the centre of Piazza Armerina. This will allow you to return home quickly and safely.
No tickets, no fees, no pre-booking — just check the timetable, show up, and hop on.
The night buses start at Tenuta Savoca, loop around Tenute Leano, then continue into Piazza Armerina.
There are four more stops within the town itself. The final stop is marked by the GH Hotel.
The starting point and stops for the night buses are:
A. Tenuta Savoca — Wedding venue (departure point)
1. Tenute Leano — First stop & quick U-turn
2. Hotel Villa Romana
3. Piazza Armerina Centre (Town Centre)
4. Hotel Gangi
5. GH Hotel — Final stop
Staying close to any of these locations means a short, safe, sleepy walk home after the party.

You can pre-book a taxi to bring you to and pick you up from the venue. We recommend asking your hotel to assist you with this.
Remember: No reliable Uber / Bolt / Freenow availability in this region.
Walking from the venue is not recommended (rural roads, dark countryside).
